Michigan Works! Association was established in 1987 to provide services and support to Michigan’s Workforce Development System.



Benefits.gov - Unemployment Insurance


Unemployment insurance benefits provide temporary financial assistance to workers unemployed through no fault of their own that meet Michigan's eligibility requirements.

The Food Assistance Program helps ensure that eligible low-income families and individuals are able to obtain a nutritious diet. Food Assistance benefits are intended to supplement other household income and may only be used to purchase food.
